strawberry fest goodness for everyone!!! woohoo!!!
although this happened ages ago i thought that i would share something relevant to life in new orl
eans (well, louisiana, anyway). a few saturdays ago gavin, stephanie, nick, and little ol' me went to the strawberry festival in ponchatoula, louisiana. although it was hot as hell, a good time was had by all. we had all of the alcoholic strawberry concoctions one can imagine (and then some), not to mention some fried food, food on a stick, and food that we just stared at wondering if people really ate that crap. we played some carnival games, wandered around, i got an airbrush tat
too of a fleur de lis (cus really i just want to be like meeg- :P ), and I rode roller coasters (because the three other adult i was with were just too scared to ride them- note in the photo that the kid i'm sitting next to can't be older than 7 and then think of the 3 30 year olds standing on the ground watching!). it was fab fab fun and here are some pics for your enjoyment!
