for those of you who don't know about the green project it's an amazing program wherein architects (and famous people like brad) build eco-friendly homes using recyclable materials, etc. in devastated areas in new orleans. it's the eco-friendly version of habitat for humanity. for more info on it please go to this link...

back to brad...
it seems that our globe-trotting lothario has now come back "home" to tour a 'green' house in the lower ninth ward. yesterday he came to new orleans and went out to the barren waste land that is the ninth ward and surveyed a partially built home in the holy cross (where my brother andrew goes to school) neighborhood. the things he said are actually kind of groovy...
the house itself is also pretty awesome in terms of its eco-friendliness. now if only all houses could be built this way...
"The design...includes energy-saving appliances, a cistern, toilets designed for water conservation, soy-based insulation, paperless drywall, solar panels and a roof on the second-story deck designed to help insulate the house and channel water to the cistern."
sounds to me like brad is still doing his good work here even if he's abandoned us to live elsewhere. now if we could only lure him back into living here....

Too bad you didn't post a photo of Brad in a hardhat?
like that man would ever be caught dead in a hardhat!! angie would drop him in a second!!
I dunno, Brad's helmet might do it for some ladies.
Also... how are the kids enrolled in the Ecole Francaise if theyre never in town? Well, I guess it is summer now. Also, are any of the kids old enough to attend the school? (maddox and zahara maybe) And the hardhat photos are niiice (http://icydk.com/2007/08/22/brad-pitt-goes-green-with-his-next-project/). I could totally see Angelina being like "honestly, Brad, that's so village people" though
