hurray! new blog!
with months of prompting from meeg and vague mentions by other people i have finally decided to start a new blog. for all of you wondering about the fate of the other blog, the one i've had since before nola was k-ville, i am sorry to tell you that that one has fallen between the cracks. it is there for all of you who would like to remember the good ol' days when we only joked about the city being washed away and the word katrinaville would have made no sense.
a few things you should know about my new blog:
1) don't expect me to use caps. it's not going to happen. comment and complain all you like, you aren't going to change my mind on this one.
2) i'm not going to be posting everyday but you might get multiple posts in one day. it should all even out in the end. i know you need your fix but you're just going to have to stay calm.
3) don't think that it's always going to make sense. i reserve the right to ramble.
4) i also reserve the right to spell things incorrectly. maybe i even did it on purpose to make a point...you decide.
5) i don't really like rules so i'm not going to conform to anything (except for the no caps thing. i just can't be bothered).
i must confess that i don't have much to say at this moment. my home computer is acting up so i'm afraid that there won't be photos and such until i've gotten all of that sorted out. until then you're just going to have to deal with plain ol' posts (and the next one won't be as lame as this one, i swear). it's time to pack up and go home so that's going to have to be it for today. stay cool.

weather today: hot and sunny, only a cloud or two in sight. 92 degrees but it feels like it's about 114 with the heat index.
days until my birthday: 12 (not including today or my bd itself)
